Blue Hors Santiano is a real eye catcher, with not only his looks which impresss but also his pedigree. His dam, Romanik, comes from an exceptional mare line and is the mother of several highly graded mares and stallions amongst which Glock’s Zonik. With Blue Hors Zack through Sezuan on his father’s side and Blue Hors Romanov through his mother’s side Santiano really represents ‘the best of Blue Hors’ breeding.
Santiano is now being trained towards Grand Prix and has several good results as a young horse. As a 5 year old he won the Nationa Young Horse Championships in Holland and got a 10 from test rider Eva Möller. Both as a 5 year old and 7 year old he was selected for the World Championships for young horses. As a 6 year old and as a 7 year old he has been in the top of the National Young Horse Championships in Denmark.
Already from the very first ride on Santiano, it was clear that he possessed an exceptional talent for collection work, back when he was only five years old. Today he confirms that assessment and shows even more of his potential. He has a fantastic presence and tremendous charisma, and his bloodlines are truly exceptional.
