Zackorado was licensed at the German stallion licensing in Kreuth in 2018, where he was named champion stallion, and in 2019 he completed a 14-day test with an excellent result of 8.34 points.
In the intermediate round for 4-year-olds, Zackorado impressed with a total score of 90.60 points. His marks included 8.8 for canter, 9.0 for walk, 9.0 for rideability, 9.2 for capacity, and 9.3 for trot.
“What makes him so special is that you can ride him to his maximum, where he shows everything, and then just as quickly bring him back to walk, drop the reins, and he simply does what you ask. He has an incredibly kind nature and is completely uncomplicated,” said Zackorado’s former rider Cristian Tudela Ruiz, adding: “There is no doubt that Zackorado is a very special horse for me. Each horse is special in its own way, but it is something unique to take on a relatively raw young horse, to educate it, and to leave your own mark all the way to Grand Prix.”
Zackorado descends from a highly performance-strong damline that has produced premium mares, licensed stallions, and several competition horses up to Grand Prix level. His great-granddam Rosalie (by Rubinstein) produced the Grand Prix mare Viva España (by Ex Libris) as well as the licensed stallions Dressage Royal (by Donnerhall) and Zansibar (by Blue Hors Zack). His granddam Rosanna is the full sister to the Grand Prix and breeding stallion Dressage Royal, sire of the world-renowned Damsey and the Danish Warmblood stallion UNO Don Diego, who has established his own Danish stallion line. Rosanna’s sister Rosmari (by De Niro) is the dam of the Zack-son Znickers.
