Blue Hors colours were shining at the top of the leaderboard during the opening qualification of the Danish Equestrian Federation’s Young Horse Championships in dressage!
In the 7-year-old class, Blue Hors Bonsai claimed another impressive victory, while Purple Rain delivered a superb test in the 5-year-old class to secure a strong second place.
Blue Hors Bonsai Wins the 7-Year-Old Class
Blue Hors Bonsai (by Blue Hors Baron) continued her excellent form, winning the 7-year-old class with a score of 80.525%.
It was another elegant and well-balanced performance from the chestnut mare, who impressed the judges with power, rideability, and expression.
Close behind came Susanne Barnow on EQ Secret Suprise (by Secret), scoring 80.255% for second place, while Lone Bang Zindorff and FA Viviani DWB (by Valverde) secured third with 79.353%.
Purple Rain and Lea Dyre Jespersen Impress in the 5-Year-Old Class
In the 5-year-old division, the breeding stallion Purple Rain (by Desperado) showed his outstanding talent under Lea Dyre Jespersen.
The pair delivered a harmonious and expressive test full of quality, earning an excellent 87.857% and a well-deserved second place in a highly competitive field.
Betina Jæger Jensen and Faustino G. (by Blue Hors Farrell) entered as the final combination and took the win with 88.429%, while Selina Solberg Vittinghus on Atterupgaards Bernachi (by Bon Courage) finished third with 86.857%.
A Strong Start Ahead of the Finals
With another win for Blue Hors Bonsai and a top result for Purple Rain, the expectations are high heading into the finals this Saturday and Sunday.
